Students leave school to attend protest march in Vancouver, BC

Vancouver and Richmond, B.C.-based youth political group Students United are holding a rally and march protesting Donald Trump’s Muslim ban in Vancouver on Sept. 15.

The group says the ban includes banning entry from Iraq, Somalia, Iran, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

One thousand people rallied outside the University of British Columbia Wednesday, with several hundred gathering in a downtown plaza where they lined the walls of one of the building’s two offices.

“I think it’s the right thing to do, I feel the바카라사이트 same way as the millions of American children around the world who have the same right to be safe and welcome,” Students United president Alex Neves said.

The rally started at 8 a.m. in front of the UWV office at 514 King St.

A handful of protesters set up on the street and then formed into a large block blocking Ki화천출장샵ng Street.

Students are demanding the government cancel the executive order, but protesters held up sign-writing as the rally progressed, calling out several members of the Trump adminis천안출장마사지tration and telling them they deserve the support of the university.

Students United says about 1,500 people showed up in Vancouver with the aim of marching in a march downtown.
